Our founding documents establish us as a member-based organization. Our members fund our annual operating budget, inform our priorities, and assist in execution. They are much more than passive members. They are investors in the future of tech and innovation across the region.
Founding members of the Southwest Florida Regional Technology Partnership (2008) now dba SWFL Tech include: Florida Gulf Coast University, Lee County Economic Development Office, Collier County Economic Development Office, Charlotte County Economic Development Office, WCI Group, Wilson Miller, Surround Technologies, and Training Options.
Founding Board of Directors (2008) include: Kevin Barnhill (Chair), Lee Paul (Chair Elect), Kristi Bartlett (Vice Chair – Policy & External Affairs), Diana Walker (Vice Chair – Membership & Communications), Randy Mitchelson (Vice Chair – Finance), Alex Vella, Brian Lucas, Janusz Zalewsky, Kay Tracy, Rene Cabrera, Tammie Nemecek, Tim Cartwright, and Tripp Ruding.
